We are in our seventh year at Rock Solid Academy and we have just re-launched our All Things New Campaign.  “And he who was seated on the throne said, 'Behold, I am making all things new.'” Revelation 21:5.  Rock Solid Academy has recently moved into a new season of growth and opportunities.  The transition into our new location at High Point Baptist Church in Larksville, has been seamless.  The pastors, administration, and church members have welcomed RSA with open arms. This move has provided us with many new opportunities to further the academic, spiritual, and athletic growth of our RSA students. We currently have access to a beautiful sanctuary that is being utilized for chapel services, music class, theater, and other special events. We have access to breathtaking land that is providing ample space for sporting fields, nature walks, ecosystem studies, outdoor pavilions, a basketball court, and recess! We are also approaching a new position of financial stability. This is due to positive changes, including the move, and because of the generous support of committed families and donors from the community. Our reports indicate that $85,000.00 was spent on financial aid this past year with 50% of our students receiving this aid. With your help, this school can continue to serve students and families and continue changing lives.

Rock Solid Academy partners with parents to provide students with a superior education consistent with Christian principles.  Students are provided with a vibrant Christ-centered environment that empowers them to discover their passions and to develop their unique gifts and abilities while growing in wisdom, knowledge, leadership, faith, and service.

Currently, there are 7 teachers, 4  specials teachers and nearly 15 volunteers serving 55 students from Kindergarten-12th grade. All of our teachers are highly qualified, state certified, and 90% possess a Master’s degree. We have established strong partnerships with local colleges including Wilkes University, King’s College, Misericordia University, LCCC, and Bloomsburg University. These partnerships enable our students to participate in on-campus programs designed exclusively for our school.  We are also provided with pre-service and student teacher volunteers to work with our students (enrichment and remedial services) and to assist the teacher in the classroom. A new and exciting offering is that we are now a part of the King’s College Young Scholars Program.  This program enables us to send our high school juniors and seniors to campus where they are receiving college credits for courses at an extremely minimal fee. We are committed in everything we do to help students succeed academically, athletically (offering competitive and intramural sports programs), and artistically; to develop leadership skills; and to grow into a mature relationship with Jesus Christ.

With our small student body, the school alone is not able to produce the necessary funds to maintain the ministry of providing a superior education consistent with Christian principles.
